HO CHI MINH CITY (HCM)-<\/strong> Vietnamese low-cost carrier, VietJet Air (VJ) <\/a>launches new route connecting Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) to Xi’an (XIY).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline celebrated this milestone on Monday (July 1, 2024) at Xi’an Xianyang International Airport. Government officials from Shaanxi Province, airport authorities, VietJet leaders, and passengers attended the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VietJet Air Xi’an Flight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This new service builds on VietJet’s successful routes to Shanghai and Chengdu. Now, travelers can fly directly between HCM City and Xi’an, a city famous for its historical and cultural significance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VietJet operates four round-trip flights weekly on this route. The airline aims to strengthen cultural and economic bonds between the two cities and foster closer ties between Vietnam and China. This new connection also enhances regional travel options within VietJet’s network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hanoi-based carrier deploys Airbus A320 aircraft<\/a> to serve this new sector. The flight distance between HCM and Xi’an is 2,626 KM<\/small> and takes around four hours to complete the journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VietJet celebrates its new route with a special promotion. For one week, the airline offers zero \u0111\u1ed3ng fares on all routes between Vietnam and China<\/a>. This deal applies to flights from August 22 to May 25, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travelers can book these tickets on its official website or through the VietJet Air mobile app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
