AMSTERDAM-<\/strong> World’s oldest carrier still in operations, KLM (KL)<\/a> is enhancing its trans-Atlantic network by introducing a direct flight between Amsterdam (AMS) <\/a>and Portland (PDX)<\/a>, Oregon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beginning October 27, 2024, KLM will operate flights three times a week during the winter and five times a week during the summer. This new route marks KLM\u2019s 21st direct destination in North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KLM Amsterdam to Portland Flight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

KLM is set to take over Delta Air Lines (DL)’<\/a> service between Amsterdam and Portland, Oregon. Delta, a partner in the trans-Atlantic joint venture with KLM, has been operating this route for 15 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KLM will fly three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays between Schiphol and Portland during winter. In summer 2025, KLM will increase frequency to five times a week, flying on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These flights will be operated by the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners<\/a>. The passengers can expect 30 seats in World Business Class, 21 seats in Premium Comfort Class, and 224 seats in Economy Class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
