WASHINGTON-<\/strong> The US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) has approved grant funding for technical assistance to develop an integrated aviation hub<\/a> at Hisar Airport (HSS) in Haryana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, this initiative aims to enhance airport cargo<\/a> and logistics infrastructure, bolstering India’s supply chain network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aviation Hub at Hisar Airport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

USTDA Director Enoh T. Ebong announced this at the three-day US-India Aviation <\/a>Summit in Washington. \u201cI am delighted to announce that USTDA has approved grant funding for technical assistance to help create an integrated aviation hub at Hisar Airport in the State of Haryana,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur efforts will help develop airport cargo and logistics infrastructure, strengthening India\u2019s supply chain network,\u201d Ebong added, without specifying the grant’s amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Haryana Airports Development Corporation (HADC) will be USTDA’s partner in this project. Furthermore, the assistance will include capacity building to support HADC\u2019s implementation of the integrated aviation hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top officials from India and the US, along with corporate sector representatives, are attending the seventh biennial US-India Aviation Summit in Washington D.C<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ebong announced that the Haryana Airports Development Corporation (HADC) will select a US firm to provide the technical assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is an important opportunity,\u201d she stated, adding, \u201cOur portfolio continues to grow and, importantly, aligns with the priorities our partners have identified as critical.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“With about 40 activities<\/strong> under the Aviation Cooperation Programme (ACP), we are just beginning to explore the full potential of this partnership,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, the top USTDA official highlighted that there are 10 aviation projects across India <\/strong>where US companies can contribute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut we want to do more. This summit is an opportunity to chart the next chapter of our mutually beneficial aviation partnerships,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs we collaborate over the next several days and beyond, let\u2019s think without limitations and plan with intent, drawing from our creativity and the spirit of true equal partnership that defines our aviation work and sets an example for the world,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
