MUMBAI-<\/strong> The new reports from various sources on illegal immigration <\/a>to the United States (US) from multiple countries including India revealed that these immigrants are paying huge money to agents. This is much higher than what immigration attorney charges for the legal services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agents charge the amount to obviously for making profits but to provide all kinds of illegal accommodation and Transportaion such as charter flights, bus rides, and a car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Illegal Immigration to United States Cost<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Well, these agents often fly people from their respective countries to US-Mexico border via multiple stops, so it gets difficult for authorities to track them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So how are authorities tackling this situation? As per reports, the Biden Administration is working in conjunction with nearby regional countries and also with companies that provide travel packages and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Administration is also revoking visas of managers and owners of the charter and private jet companies involved in smuggling illegal immigrants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, what exactly is the cost to fly to US without valid documents. So according to research by Reuters, it costs around $10K to migrants from West Africa, which fly from their respective countries to Nicaragua, country in Central America to the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, if migrants are from India than they pay from $72K to 96K. Again, it requires multiple layovers before they land in central America, then they are forced to travel by land to US-Mexico border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The traditional illegal routes include flying to Mexico<\/a>, also the extremely dangerous Darien Gap trek which is situated between Colombia and Panama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But now, the Nicaragua is emerging as the new hub for illegal immigrants as President Daniel Ortega’s government allow any person to fly to the country in exchange of cash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following this the US government is taking strict action on Nicaraguan government official affiliated companies by imposing visa restrictions and sanctions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
