A portion of the engine\u2019s sound-dampening outer liner was found on the runway.&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The US Aviation watchdog, the <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=FAA\">Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) <\/a>has reported the incident and will investigate it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Flight Radar 24 data, United Airlines Flight UA325 took off from Bradley Airport at 12:03 PM UTC, and shortly after takeoff flight crew reported some unaware noise, and later a part of a &#8220;sound-dampening outer liner&#8221; beneath the cowling was found on the runway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To burn extra fuel, the aircraft flew in random patterns near the airport before landing safely back at Windsor Bay at 12:47 PM UTC. The flight remained airborne for roughly 45 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flight was operated by Airbus A320, registered as N490UA.
