Apart from this, the flames were observed by passengers sitting on the left side and also by flight attendants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following this, the flight crew decided to reject the takeoff at low speed (38 knots over the ground) and return to the terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the FlightRadar24 and RadarBox data, the flight was cleared to take off and it started its run at 4:16 AM UTC. Emirates already operated two EK262 flights with different A380s from Sao Paulo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A6-EUL is powered by four GP7270 engines manufactured by Engine Alliance, a joint venture between General Electric and <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Pratt+and+Whitney\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pratt &amp; Whitney<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emirates Flight between Dubai and Sao Paulo is one of the largest flights operated by <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Airbus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Airbus<\/a> A380 in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier today, the <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Virgin+Australia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Virgin Australia (VA)<\/a>\u00a0flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Invercargill Airport due to an engine fire.
