ATLANTA-<\/strong> Customers eager to hit the slopes this winter will find plenty of options with Delta Air Lines (DL)<\/a>, as the airline plans its most expansive winter ski schedule yet, increasing seat capacity by nearly 10% compared to 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winter schedule features an extensive lineup from Los Angeles (LAX)<\/a>, where Delta will introduce daily nonstop flights to Jackson Hole (JAC) and a new Saturday service to Sun Valley, Idaho (SUN). Additionally, customers in Minneapolis, Atlanta, and Salt Lake City will enjoy increased service to popular ski destinations throughout the West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta Winter Ski Destinations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDelta is establishing crucial connections from our expanding hub and state-of-the-art facilities in Los Angeles and across the U.S. to make premier ski resorts easily accessible this winter,\u201d said Joe Esposito, Delta\u2019s Senior Vice President of Network Planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flights From Los Angeles (LAX)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This winter, Delta\u2019s ski schedule out of LAX will feature a 25% increase in seat capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to daily flights to Jackson Hole and year-round service to Aspen, Delta will resume daily flights to Bozeman (BZN) and Vail (EGE), and introduce a new Saturday service to Sun Valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regardless of the destination, travelers will enjoy a seamless journey through Delta\u2019s state-of-the-art Sky Way at LAX. Terminal 3, a 1.2-million-square-foot, 27-gate complex, enhances travel convenience with a centralized check-in lobby, expanded security checkpoint, and an award-winning Delta Sky Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta One customers benefit from an exclusive check-in area, a private TSA screening lane, and direct access to the Delta Sky Club<\/a>. Additionally, eligible customers can utilize Delta Digital ID at LAX for hands-free bag checks and security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) Flights<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Delta is enhancing winter travel options for MSP passengers this season. The airline is increasing its service to Steamboat Springs, Colorado (HDN) and Jackson Hole, with both destinations operating daily during the holiday season\u2014expanding from Saturday-only service in 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, Delta continues to offer year-round flights to Bozeman (BZN), allowing customers to enjoy this mountain retreat throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travelers passing through MSP can relax and rejuvenate at Delta Sky Club, now boasting its third club which opened in spring 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With over 21,000 square feet of premium space, it is the largest lounge in Delta\u2019s Minneapolis hub, offering a luxurious environment for guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flights From Atlanta (ATL) and Salt Lake City (SLC)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

From Delta\u2019s largest hub in Atlanta (ATL)<\/a>, travelers can anticipate expanded opportunities to explore Bozeman as the airline increases service with a second daily frequency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta already offers daily flights from Atlanta to various winter destinations: Aspen, Vail, Steamboat Springs, Montrose\/Telluride (MTJ), and Jackson Hole. With year-round service to Aspen, customers can enjoy alpine adventures throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, in SLC, Delta\u2019s daily flights to Bozeman, Jackson Hole, and Sun Valley provide access to some of the country’s most stunning slopes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta’s footprint at SLC has expanded notably in recent years, highlighted by the introduction of Concourse A in 2020, covering 900,000 square feet. The concourse now includes 19 new dining and shopping options, complemented by 50 Delta gates with additional expansions slated through 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travelers eligible for access can begin their journey with scenic mountain views at the Delta Sky Club in Salt Lake City. This expansive 28,000-square-foot lounge features a covered open-air Sky Deck offering panoramic views of the Wasatch Range, centered around a 360-degree fireplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All these ski routes are scheduled to operate from December 21, 2024, to March 30, 2025. Delta\u2019s current list of ski packages is here<\/a>. Frequency adjustments may occur in different markets after January 5, 2025, as the season progresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
