VENICE-<\/strong> Flag carrier Qatar Airways (QR)<\/a> has resumed its daily non-stop flights between Hamad International Airport (DOH)<\/a> in Doha, recently named ‘World\u2019s Best Airport’ by Skytrax, and Venice Marco Polo (VCE) Airport in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To celebrate this expansion, a ceremony was held at the departure gate for passengers at Hamad International Airport (DOH).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways Resumes Venice Flight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

These flights to Venice are part of Qatar Airways’ 2024 network expansion, enhancing the airline\u2019s existing services to Milan <\/a>and Rome<\/a>. The new schedule allows passengers to conveniently travel to these iconic Italian cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Thierry Antinori, said, \u201cAs we enter the summer season, we are excited to resume our daily service to Venice. Italy is a key market for Qatar Airways, and we are committed to providing our passengers with more travel opportunities and seamless connections to explore this wonderful country.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added, \u201cIn addition to Venice, Qatar Airways already serves Rome and Milan. These flights have been incredibly popular among our passengers, and we are thrilled to expand our Italian offerings with the inclusion of Venice through our world-class hub in Doha, Hamad International Airport.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commemorating the resumption of daily non-stop services to Venice, passengers were welcomed at the gate with Italian music and canapes.

The Italian Ambassador to the state of Qatar, H.E. Mr. Paolo Toschi attended the festivities at the gate.
