They will also consider other areas of commercial cooperation, including codeshare arrangements, reciprocal benefits for frequent flyer members, cargo services, customer experience, and digital innovation, laying the foundation for a deeper, long-term strategic partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, the SIA reported a record full-year net profit&nbsp;of $2 billion. Following this, SIA\u2019s chief executive Goh Choon Phong announced a profit-sharing bonus of 7.94 months for employees, including pilots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SIA mentioned that demand for air travel remained strong throughout the year, driven by the reopening of North Asian borders, including China, Hong Kong,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Japan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Japan<\/a>, and Taiwan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Together, SIA and its low-cost carrier&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Scoot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Scoot (TR)<\/a>&nbsp;transported 36.4 million passengers, marking a 37.6 percent increase compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Group\u2019s passenger network covered 118 destinations in 35 countries and territories as of March 31, 2024. SIA served 73 destinations, and Scoot served 67.
