GURUGRAM-<\/strong> Air India (AI)<\/a>, India\u2019s leading global airline, has launched ‘Fare Lock’, a new feature on airindia.com and the Air India mobile app, enhancing travel planning flexibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Fare Lock’ allows customers to reserve a selected fare for 48 hours for a nominal fee, helping them finalize their travel plans without worrying about fare fluctuations or availability. This feature is available for flights at least 10 days from the booking date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air India Fare Lock<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Customers select their preferred flight, opt for ‘Fare Lock’ during booking, and pay a non-refundable fee to use the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They can then confirm their bookings at the pre-selected fares via the ‘Manage Booking’ option on the website or app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fare Lock is available at the following fees (inclusive of taxes) varying by route and applicable per passenger per ticket:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fare Lock, a new addition to Air India’s expanding portfolio of ancillary services, aims to enhance the overall travel experience for its customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By utilizing advanced technology and integrating the service with Amadeus in the booking flow, Air India continues to lead in meeting the diverse needs of its customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gurugam-based carrier is set to deploy Airbus A350-900<\/a> on long-haul international flights to the United States and Canada and the introduction of such features will greatly benefit its passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, Air India should improve its customer service, focus on enhancing its widebody fleet, and train their staff to handle emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
