MUMBAI-<\/strong> According to our source, the Vistara Airlines (UK) <\/a>flight from Paris (CDG)<\/a> to Mumbai (BOM) <\/a>has received the bomb threat today (June 2, 2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tata Group-backed Indian Full-Service Carrier operating Boeing 787 on the route received the threat via message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vistara Bomb Threat on Paris-Mumbai Flight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to Aviation A2Z<\/em> source, the security authorities and personnel at Mumbai Airport were alerted. After the aircraft touched down in Mumbai, it was taken to the isolation bay for inspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the passengers disembarked safely and the aircraft is under inspection and we will keep you posted with new updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the FlightRadar24 data, the Vistara Flight UK24 <\/strong>took off from Paris at around 7:55 PM UTC. After being airborne for almost 9 hours, the flight received a bomb threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following this, the pilot made an emergency landing and the aircraft taxied to isolation bay E9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight UK24 is operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner<\/a>. Today 2 years and 8 months old VT-TSO served the route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is not the first time that Vistara received the threat, two days back Vistara flight UK611 from Delhi (DEL) to Srinagar (SXR) received a hoax bomb threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similar Incident<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to officials, the Air Traffic Control (ATC) in Srinagar received a threatening call, prompting a swift and coordinated response from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). Following standard protocol for such threats, the aircraft was immediately directed to an isolation bay upon landing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“All passengers were safely deboarded at the isolation bay. Currently, the aircraft is undergoing a thorough security check by the relevant authorities to ensure the safety of all concerned,” stated an airport official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the incident, the airline issued a statement saying, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We confirm there was a security concern on Vistara flight UK 611 operating from Delhi to Srinagar on 31 May 2024 that was brought to our staff\u2019s attention while on board. Following protocol, we immediately informed the relevant authorities, and the aircraft was taken to the isolation bay after safely landing at Srinagar International Airport, where all customers were disembarked. We fully cooperated with the concerned authorities to complete the mandatory security checks.”<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

“All necessary checks have been conducted, and the aircraft has been cleared to resume operations. At Vistara, the safety and security of our customers, crew, and aircraft are of utmost importance to us,” it added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday, the IndiGo Airlines Chennai-Mumbai flight 6E5314<\/a> received a hoax note in the lavatory<\/strong> mentioning a bomb<\/a>, which was discovered by the crew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a significant rise in such hoax calls and messages. Such a message disrupts flight operations and is a punishable offense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So don’t ever joke about this or speak a b*mb word in flight because on a Vistara flight, two women joked about it<\/a> and they were removed from the flight and a case was registered against them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
