However, Junior First Officers will not receive a salary hike this appraisal season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Air-India_Cabin-Crew-and-Pilots-Uniforms-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Tata-owned Indian FSC Air India (AI) announced on May 23 that it will implement a salary increase of up to Rs 15,000 for pilots and an annual performance bonus of up to Rs 1.8 lakh, effective from April 1, 2024.\" class=\"wp-image-53085\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo: Air India<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-air-india-hikes-pilots-salary\">Air India Hikes Pilots Salary<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline also introduced an annual bonus ranging from Rs 42,000 to Rs 1.8 lakh for positions from Junior First Officer to Senior Commander.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specifically, First Officers and Captains will receive an annual bonus of Rs 60,000, while Commanders and Senior Commanders will receive Rs 1.32 lakh and Rs 1.8 lakh, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Air India announced compensation for <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Pilot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pilots <\/a>who have experienced significant delays in their ground and simulator training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Pilots who underwent command upgrade and conversion training from April 2023 to March 2024 and experienced delays due to valid organizational reasons will receive additional compensation for time spent in training beyond the guaranteed 40 hours of flying,&#8221;
