Starting November 30, 2024, Lufthansa will operate flights twice a week from Frankfurt to Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland in northern Finland<\/a>. Positioned on the Arctic Circle, Rovaniemi boasts pristine natural surroundings, serving as an excellent base for exploring awe-inspiring natural wonders like the Northern Lights and stunning cross-country ski resorts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Rovaniemi’s addition, Lufthansa further enriches its presence in Finland, expanding its footprint alongside Helsinki, Oulu, Kittil\u00e4, Ivalou, and Kuusamo, marking its sixth destination in Finland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
