In response to the suspected fire, Delhi Fire Services (DFS) deployed three fire tenders to the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Air India flight <strong>AI807 <\/strong>from <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Delhi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Delhi <\/a>to Bengaluru returned to Delhi this evening following a fire warning from its auxiliary power unit. The pilots followed the necessary protocols, and the aircraft landed uneventfully. All passengers and crew safely deplaned at the aerobridge,&#8221; stated an Air India spokesperson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Air India prioritizes the safety and well-being of its passengers. Despite the collision, all passengers and crew on board are reported to be safe,\u201d an airport official told the news agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the incident, passengers were safely disembarked, and alternative arrangements were made as they waited at the airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=DGCA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA)&nbsp;<\/a>has initiated an inquiry to determine the cause of the collision, ANI reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preliminary findings suggest that the tug truck, which is used to maneuver the aircraft on the ground, struck the plane during taxiing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Airport operations continued without significant disruption, although the affected aircraft was temporarily taken out of service for inspection and repairs and is now ready for operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air India flight AI858 was operated by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=A321\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Airbus A321-200<\/a>, registered as VT-PPL.
