MONTREAL-<\/strong> Air Canada (AC) <\/a>announced a significant expansion of its schedule for Ottawa (YOW), increasing service by nearly 60 percent. Flights to Calgary and Winnipeg will now operate year-round, while additional flights to Halifax and Quebec City will provide extra capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The schedule also includes widebody service to Vancouver (YVR)<\/a> and more flights to popular winter destinations like Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando, Cancun, and Punta Cana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Canada Ottawa Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the two daily flights between Ottawa and Vancouver will be operated on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Ottawa is a crucial part of Air Canada’s network, and due to high demand, we are increasing our capacity to our nation\u2019s capital by almost 60 percent compared to 2023. We’re thrilled to extend key non-stop routes to year-round service and add more capacity to other cities. We’re also enhancing options for sun destinations and, with our joint venture partner United Airlines, increasing travel options to and from the U.S.,” said Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President of Revenue and Network Planning at Air Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
