Additionally, Akasa Air, one of India&#8217;s newest carriers, is in discussions with us regarding the launch of international routes from Bengaluru.&#8221;<\/p><cite>BIAL Spokeperson<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The spokesperson further added, &#8220;IndiGo has emerged as the leading international carrier in terms of deployed seats. Key international destinations included Dubai, Singapore, Doha, Bangkok, and Abu Dhabi during the last fiscal year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In related news, Australian airline <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/2024\/05\/14\/qantas-manila-brisbane-suspends-sydney-shanghai-singapore-india-flights\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Qantas (QF) revealed plans on Tuesday <\/a>to increase flights between Sydney and Bengaluru starting from mid-December<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently offering five weekly services, Qantas will elevate its frequency to a daily service from mid-December until next March. This expansion will result in the addition of 12,000 seats between the two cities over the four months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Qantas International CEO Cam Wallace expressed, <em>&#8220;The demand for travel between India and Australia remains remarkably strong.
