DUBLIN- Yesterday (May 9, 2024), an Air Canada (AC) flight, AC819<\/b>, was compelled to execute an emergency landing at Dublin Airport (DUB), resulting in the closure of the airport to a single runway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight, originating from Venice (VCE) and bound for Montreal (YUL)<\/a>, had to land due to a hydraulics issue affecting steering, as Shaun Dunne of Shaun’s Aviation<\/em> on X reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Canada Emergency Landing at Dublin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft touched down around 6:50 pm yesterday and was greeted by fire crews in Dublin, who conducted an inspection of the plane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hydraulic problem led to the loss of nose steering, rendering the aircraft immobile on the runway and necessitating a tow to a stand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
