ZURICH-<\/strong> Korean travelers now have the opportunity to fly directly to Switzerland<\/a>, a central European destination, courtesy of Swiss International Air Lines (LX)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Switzerland, renowned for its distinctive culture, snow-capped mountains, and warm hospitality, is now accessible to Korean passengers via the newly launched LX123<\/strong> flight from Seoul (ICN)<\/a> to Zurich (ZRH).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SWISS Zurich to Seoul Flight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The maiden flight was operated by a 21-year-old Airbus A340-300, registered as HB-JMA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zurich, situated at the heart of Europe, offers a compelling blend of natural splendor and modernity, providing a unique travel experience for both adventurers and culture enthusiasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, aside from leisure travelers, business travelers stand to benefit from the robust economic ties between Switzerland and South Korea, with South Korea ranking as Switzerland\u2019s fourth-largest Asian trading partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Leandro Tonidandel, General Manager Korea at SWISS, expressed his excitement about SWISS’s introduction to the Korean market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 17 weekly flights<\/strong>, Lufthansa Group now offers non-stop services to Frankfurt, Munich, and Zurich, providing Korean passengers with direct access to Europe’s most extensive network from its hubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tonidandel emphasized the 40-year history of connecting Korea with Europe and highlighted the significance of the introduction of flights with Switzerland’s national airline as a testament to their commitment to this vital market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year marked the 60th anniversary of bilateral relations between Korea and Switzerland. Today, we celebrated the inaugural direct flight between these two nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With ongoing exchanges in education, economics, and culture, the launch of the first direct connection between Switzerland and Korea aims to strengthen the bonds between these two countries further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
