STOCKHOLM-<\/strong> Today (April 29, 2024) marks an exciting milestone as SkyTeam <\/a>and Scandinavian Airlines (SK), shortly known as SAS<\/a>, have officially signed an Alliance Adherence Agreement (AAA), marking a significant step toward SAS\u2019 formal inclusion in the global airline alliance<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAS Joins SkyTeam Alliance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As of September 1, 2024, SAS will officially join SkyTeam, enhancing the alliance’s reach with premier access to Scandinavian key hubs. This collaboration will strengthen SkyTeam’s global network, offering new destinations, improved connectivity, and an elevated, seamless travel experience for all passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon SAS’s integration into SkyTeam, EuroBonus members will enjoy benefits across most SkyTeam airlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EuroBonus Silver members will be granted SkyTeam Elite status, while Gold and Diamond members will attain Elite Plus status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will provide them access to a network of over 750 airport lounges <\/strong>and SkyPriority services at eight airport touchpoints, including priority check-in, boarding, and baggage handling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAS customers will benefit from effortless connectivity throughout SkyTeam’s network of over 1,060 destinations, <\/strong>encompassing their preferred destinations and previously underserved cities, particularly across Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
