In December, a deal was announced with Airbus for 355 firm orders and optional orders for A321 narrow-body and A350 wide-body aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We are currently in negotiations with both Airbus and Boeing for the remaining 235 planes,&#8221; stated THY Chairperson Ahmet Bolat during an event in Istanbul, which included representatives from Airbus and Rolls-Royce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bolat emphasized Turkish Airlines&#8217; consistent approach to maintaining a balanced relationship between Airbus and Boeing.
