FORT WORTH-<\/strong> American Airlines (AA)<\/a> is ramping up its flight frequency between Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV) in Florida and Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) <\/a>for June and July. Following reductions due to COVID-19, the service will now offer two daily nonstop flights starting from June 5th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Allan Penksa, CEO of Gainesville Regional Airport, noted, “The Dallas route has been incredibly popular among our passengers, and they sorely missed the convenience and choices when the frequency was reduced.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

American Airlines Dallas to Gainesville Flight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Two aircraft types will serve the route: the Embraer <\/a>ERJ-175, with a seating capacity of 76, and the Canadair RJ-900, accommodating 76-79 passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travelers departing from Gainesville will enjoy convenient connections to 96 unique destinations not currently served by American Airlines’ existing hubs in Charlotte and Miami<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These destinations include Honolulu and Kahului\/Maui in Hawaii, Anchorage in Alaska, San Jose in California, and Redmond in Oregon. International destinations encompass Tokyo in Japan <\/a>and Seoul in South Korea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Operating two flights with spacious aircraft, including first-class and other amenities, gives our business and leisure travelers the options and flexibility they desire,” Penksa remarked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also mentioned that the higher the number of passengers flying locally, the more likely it is that this frequency could extend beyond July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
