FLORIDA-<\/strong> Azorra rejoices in the delivery of the first Embraer E190-E2 aircraft <\/a>out of nine slated for Scoot (TR)<\/a>, the budget arm of Singapore Airlines (SQ). At a dedicated handover event in Brazil hosted by Embraer, executives from Azorra, Scoot, and Embraer came together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dubbed ‘Explorer 3.0’ to commemorate Scoot’s third and latest fleet expansion, this delivery signifies the maiden instance of a Singaporean carrier incorporating an aircraft from the Brazilian manufacturer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scoot Welcomes First Embraer E190-E2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

New Routes with E2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Scoot’s E2 services are slated to commence in May 2024, with Explorer 3.0’s inaugural flight to Krabi, Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, Scoot is gearing up to introduce two fresh routes\u2014heading to Koh Samui, Thailand, and Sibu, Malaysia\u2014utilizing the incoming Embraer E190-E2. Subsequently, this regional jet will also be deployed on current Scoot routes servicing Hat Yai and Krabi, Thailand, along with Kuantan and Miri, Malaysia, consequently supplanting the Airbus A320.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singaporean carrier currently operates 53 aircraft, including 21 787 Dreamliners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
