BLAGNAC- <\/strong>Airbus<\/a> has chosen M1 Composites Technology to provide repair station services for A220<\/a> aircraft operators throughout North America<\/a>, establishing it as the region’s first designated repair station for A220 maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located in Laval, Canada, M1 Composites Technology will offer repair station services for Airbus Proprietary Parts, which Satair, an Airbus Services company, supports. Their services will focus on structural and flight surfaces, such as rudders, elevators, winglets, and other components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airbus A220 Repair Station in the US<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Alexandra Cros, who serves as the senior vice president of A220 customer services, expressed, “With over 150 A220s currently operating within North American-based airline fleets and an additional 240+ anticipated in the coming years, our primary focus is on providing localized service to our customers and aircraft operators. We are committed to delivering capable and high-quality repair support in this crucial market for Airbus and Satair.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lars Zimmer<\/strong>, the global head of repair and production at Satair, commented, “As the presence of the A220 continues to expand within airline fleets in North America, we are delighted to assist Airbus in meeting current and future operational requirements.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With over 325 A220s delivered to 20 airlines operating on five continents, the A220 offers operational flexibility for regional and long-distance routes. More than 100 million passengers have flown on the A220, and the fleet is currently flying on more than 1,400 routes and more than 440 destinations worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the end of March 2024, around 30 customers have ordered more than 900 A220 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
