These engines are utilized in Boeing 737 MAX narrow-body aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This investment aids our expansion in the Indian aerospace sector, equipping us to meet the rising demands of our customers,&#8221; stated Amol Nagar, Managing Director at GE Aerospace&#8217;s Pune facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m thrilled to witness the growth of this site, which has already proven to be a significant contributor to our global aircraft engine component supply chain,&#8221; remarked Mike Kauffman, Vice President of Global Supply Chain at GE Aerospace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Around 700 engines, jointly produced by GE Aerospace and CFM, are currently powering major Indian airlines such as <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Indigo\">IndiGo (6E)<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Boeing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Air India (AI)<\/a>. Additionally, the defense engines and systems are propelling India&#8217;s Light Combat Aircraft Tejas Mk 1, helicopters, aircraft carriers, and frigates of the Indian Navy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since its inception, the facility has provided specialized aerospace precision manufacturing process training to over 5,000 individuals, stated the aerospace corporation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay tuned with us.
