SEOUL-<\/strong> Korean Air (KE)<\/a> joins as a fresh A350 Family client through a firm agreement with Airbus<\/a>, securing 33 planes comprising 27 A350-1000s and six A350-900s with unmatched range capabilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The A350 <\/a>will efficiently serve all existing intercontinental airline routes while cutting fuel consumption and carbon emissions by 25% compared to older models. Moreover, the extended range of the A350 opens up possibilities for Korean Air to explore new long-haul destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline stands to gain from heightened operational efficiency, which is marked by reduced fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Additionally, the A350 presents an ideal platform for elevating the carrier’s in-flight offerings and renowned service. As the world’s most advanced widebody aircraft series, the A350 Family maintains its status as the long-range leader, capable of non-stop flights of up to 9,700 nm \/ 18,000 km. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Featuring state-of-the-art Rolls-Royce<\/a> engines and utilizing 70% advanced materials such as composites, titanium, and modern aluminum alloys, the airframe is lighter and more cost-efficient, resulting in an average reduction of around 25% in fuel consumption and carbon emissions compared to similar-sized previous generation aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the end of February, the A350 Family had secured 1,240 orders<\/strong> from 59 customers worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
