BENGALURU-<\/strong> Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt Ltd (MASPL)<\/a> and Airbus Atlantic<\/a> have entered a multi-year agreement for the production and delivery of metallic components and small assemblies for the entire Airbus commercial aircraft family, including the popular A320<\/a> family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valued at approximately USD 100 million, the contract entails MASPL supplying nearly 2,300 types of metallic components to Airbus Atlantic in France from its manufacturing facility in India. This contract supplements existing MASPL programs, directly supplying parts to Airbus facilities in France and Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mahindra Aerostructure Airbus Partnership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Expressing satisfaction from the customer’s standpoint, Airbus Atlantic’s Chief Procurement Officer, Jos\u00e9-Maria Trujillano, remarked, “We are pleased to expand our partnership with Mahindra Aerostructures and leverage their resilience, expertise, and advanced technological capabilities to enhance our supply chain. This collaboration will help ensure smooth production ramp-up across all our programs.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discussing the agreement, Mr. Vinod Sahay, President of Aerospace and Defense at Mahindra Group, commented, “This new contract with Airbus Atlantic marks a significant milestone in our ongoing collaboration with the Airbus Group. We are excited about the opportunity to contribute value across various aspects such as industrial maturity, digitalization, performance, and sustainability.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MASPL has been a direct supplier to the Airbus Group since 2015 and has engaged in numerous collaborative projects with Airbus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For three consecutive years, it has consistently been recognized as a D2P “Challenger” in the Sheet Metal Parts domain. Additionally, it has attained level “A” status in the Airbus Industrial Process Capability Assessment (IPCA+).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MASPL was honored with the “Best Performer” award in the 2023 Airbus Supplier Quality Improvement Program (SQIP) awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
