MUMBAI-<\/strong> Vistara (UK)<\/a>, a full-service carrier, announced on Thursday that it has taken delivery of its seventh wide-body Boeing 787-9 aircraft<\/a>, thereby fulfilling the order it placed for 56 aircraft in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having received the seventh 787-9, the airline’s fleet now consists of 53 Airbus A320neo, 10 Airbus A321, and seven Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, totaling 70 planes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vistara Mumbai to Paris Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Vistara<\/a> inaugurated the direct flights between\u00a0Mumbai (BOM)<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Paris (CDG)<\/a> on March 28, 2024, with a frequency of 5 times a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This newly introduced long-haul route supplements Vistara\u2019s existing 5x weekly service linking\u00a0Delhi\u00a0<\/a>and Paris, which has garnered positive feedback since its inauguration in November 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This marks Vistara\u2019s third long-haul route, departing from Mumbai and following\u00a0London\u00a0<\/a>and Frankfurt, as part of its strategic efforts to bolster connectivity between India and\u00a0Europe<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final Boeing 787 Dreamliner<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Vistara, a joint venture airline between India’s Tata Group and Singapore Airlines<\/a> in a 51:49 partnership, previously placed an order for a combined total of 56 aircraft with Airbus and Boeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Vistara announced the receipt of its final Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, marking the addition of the 70th aircraft to our fleet. This signifies the completion of the order we initiated in 2018, encompassing a total of 56 aircraft from both Airbus and Boeing,” stated the airline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our expansion has been significant, particularly from Delhi, Mumbai, and more recently Bengaluru. It’s been an eventful journey, filled with challenges and achievements,” expressed Vinod Kanna, Chief Executive Officer of Vistara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vistara is presently undergoing a merger with Air India subsequent to its privatization, with Singapore Airlines acquiring a 25.1% stake in the erstwhile state-controlled carrier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
