TOULOUSE-<\/strong> A recent social media post has surfaced showcasing what appears to be Emirates (EK) Airlines<\/a>‘ first Airbus A350 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shared on X (previously Twitter) by Robin Hardy on March 27, 2024, the image reveals the tail and a portion of the fuselage of the aircraft, which is still in its early stages of assembly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates First A350 Spotted<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Emirates-branded A350 was spotted at Airbus’ facilities in Toulouse, France, amidst a lineup of similar aircraft being prepared for various other airlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apart from Emirates A350, you can also see other A350s that belong to Turkish Airlines (TK)<\/a>, Delta Air Lines (DL) <\/a>and Starlux (JX).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With an outstanding order of 65 Airbus A350-900 aircraft, Emirates has solidified its commitment to expanding its fleet. The initial 50 aircraft were secured during the Dubai Airshow in 2019, amounting to a significant deal valued at $16.5 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building on this foundation, Emirates ordered 15 A350s of the same variant at the 2023 Dubai Airshow<\/a>, further bolstering its fleet capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivery in 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Anticipation surrounds the imminent debut of Emirates’ A350 fleet, with the first aircraft slated to commence service in August 2024. Subsequent deliveries are planned to continue through 2028, marking a phased integration of these advanced airliners into Emirates’ operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, Emirates is contemplating an expansion of its cargo division, Emirates SkyCargo, with the potential acquisition of the A350F, the freighter iteration of the A350.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This strategic move underscores Emirates’ commitment to adapt and innovate within the aviation industry, positioning itself for sustained growth and operational excellence in both passenger and cargo segments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of December 24, 2023, there were 578 A350 aircraft operational across 44 different operators. So far, Airbus has received total orders for more than 1,200 A350s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
