MALTA- <\/strong>KLM (KL)<\/a> and KM Malta Airlines (KM)<\/a> have agreed on a codeshare arrangement. KM Malta Airlines will replace Air Malta on Sunday. KLM will use its code on KM Malta Airlines’ eight weekly flights between Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS) and Malta as per the agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KM Malta Airlines highlighted that the codeshare collaboration offers exciting opportunities to expand networks and enhance passenger travel experiences. Travelers flying with KM Malta Airlines and KLM will now enjoy seamless journeys from check-in to baggage claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KM Malta Airlines Summer Schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

KM Malta Airlines is set to launch its summer schedule, servicing 17 airports across 15 major European cities, including Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Catania, Dusseldorf, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Lyon, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Paris Charles de Gaulle<\/a>, Paris Orly, Prague, Rome, Vienna, and Zurich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline’s objective is to ensure convenient connectivity to these key locations, catering to the diverse needs of both leisure and business travelers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Airline has scheduled its inaugural flight to depart for Catania, marking the beginning of its journey in the aviation sector. With an extensive network covering major European hubs, the airline pledges to offer travelers a seamless and enjoyable flying experience characterized by comfort, reliability, and exceptional service standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fleet Rebranding<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The airline’s fleet, acquired from Air Malta, is undergoing a rebranding process, featuring a new livery that maintains the iconic Maltese Cross against a two-tone red background on the tail fin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fuselage is now entirely white, with ‘Malta’ prominently displayed at the forefront, while previous colors on the rear fuselage of Air Malta aircraft have been removed. The underwing engines retain their red color scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Malta’s closure follows the government’s unsuccessful attempts to secure EU approval for a state aid injection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
