This increase will occur in two stages, each adding 7,000 seats. Thailand has additionally agreed to designate four new destinations for Indian carriers, including Chiang Rai, Hat Yai, Surat Thani, and Udon Thani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The active weekly seat quota of 32,000 includes allocations for Go First. Although these seats remain unassigned following its closure, other carriers, except SpiceJet, fully utilize their allotment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Thai carriers enjoy unrestricted access to 18 non-metro cities in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Industry experts note high demand for travel to Thailand, particularly for wellness and luxury resorts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thailand&#8217;s visa-free entry scheme for Indians will operate until May 10 and has contributed to a surge in traffic, with nearly 150,000 Indian visitors recorded in February, marking a 120% increase from 2019, according to Tourism Authority of Thailand data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay tuned with us.
