BENGALURU-<\/strong> Star Air (S5)<\/a>, India’s largest regional carrier, has taken the delivery of the 4th Embraer E175 aircraft<\/a> on March 13, 2024. This concludes the order for four 76-seater Embraer-jets taken on lease from Nordic Aviation Capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Embraer’s sales director for Southeast Asia <\/a>and Indonesia, Vasuki Prasad<\/a>, shares insight on how Star Air is increasing its net across India. Further, he conveyed perspicuity on Star Air’s exclusive routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Star Air Welcomes Final E175<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Star Air took delivery of the fourth Embraer E175 after almost 7 months. It took the 3rd E175 in August 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Embraer E175 is a cutting-edge regional jet recognized for its quiet operation, advanced features, and impeccable safety history. Star Air underscores its commitment to sustainability through the advanced environmental performance of the Embraer E175LR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With its fleet comprising 5 ERJ 145s, the airline now boasts 9 all-Embraer jet aircraft. It serves 27 city pairs<\/strong> and recently announced the addition of 5 more city pairs from Nanded (NDC) (shown in grey on the map below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out of the 27 city pairs, 17 are RCS-UDAN<\/a> routes (highlighted in cyan), while the remaining 10 are non-RCS UDAN routes, marked in red.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
