HYDERABAD-<\/strong> On Monday (March 11, 2024), GMR Hyderabad International Airport (HYD) <\/a>announced that it has received the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) award for the ‘Best Airport in the 15 to 25 Million Passengers Per Annum (MPPA)’ category in the Asia<\/a>-Pacific region for the year 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out of more than 400 airports globally<\/strong> that participated in the 2023 survey, GMR Hyderabad International Airport has been acknowledged once again in the annual Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hyderabad Best ASQ Airport in the World<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pradeep Panicker, the CEO of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited, expressed gratitude for the recognition, attributing it to the dedication, tireless hard work, and commitment of the entire airport team and stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added, “As part of our expansion that is almost complete, we have added new facilities and on ground infrastructure within the terminal and airside areas. These enhancements are instrumental in advancing operational efficiency, enhancing customer convenience, and elevating the overall airport experience.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consistent Growth and Progress<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

GMR Hyderabad International Airport has consistently demonstrated leadership in terms of service and operational excellence. Over a span of nine consecutive years (from 2009 to 2017), the airport has consistently secured a place among the Top 3 Global airports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, it held the World No. 1 position four times in 2009, 2010, 2016, and 2017 in the 5 \u2013 15 Million Passengers Per Annum (MPPA) category in ACI- ASQ Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2018, it achieved a World No. 4 ranking in the 15 \u2013 25 MPPA category. It also earned the title of ‘Best Airport by Size and Region’ in the Asia-Pacific region for 2019 and 2020 in the 15-25 MPPA category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2022, the airport was once again recognized as the ‘Best Airport by Size and Region’ in the 15-25 Million Passengers Per Annum (MPPA) category in the Asia-Pacific region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
