NEW YORK-<\/strong> JetBlue (B6) <\/a>crew members have received information indicating the airline’s plans to establish club lounges at New York JFK<\/a> and Boston (BOS)<\/a>, reported Eniria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These lounges are anticipated to be named Mosaic Clubs, aligning with JetBlue’s elite frequent flyer program known as Mosaic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official announcement is expected to occur as early as May, marking a key element of the airline’s strategic overhaul. This move comes after JetBlue faced challenges terminating its American Airlines (AA)<\/a> partnership and obstructing the Spirit Airlines (NK)<\/a> acquisition due to anti-trust issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline has also been grappling with a decline in stock prices and is working to defend itself against corporate raider Carl Icahn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite its limited size, many anticipated that when Aer Lingus (EI)<\/a> departed from Terminal 5 at New York JFK, where JetBlue operates, JetBlue would take over the Aer Lingus lounge space. However, a more probable scenario involves JetBlue establishing a lounge in the new terminal that is scheduled to be operational in two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
