Additionally, the A220 will begin serving selected flights on the Melbourne-Brisbane (BNE) route today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Distinguished by its superior fuel efficiency compared to earlier models, the A220 boasts an ultra-modern cabin design featuring spacious interiors, large windows, overhead lockers, specially crafted seats, and an enhanced sense of space. Furthermore, an additional four A220s are slated for delivery by mid-2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the fleet expands, the A220 will be introduced on additional existing routes, such as Melbourne-Hobart starting in July, Melbourne-Coffs Harbour in October, and Melbourne-Launceston in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key attributes of the A220 experience encompass:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accommodating 137 passengers across two cabins, featuring 10 Business seats in a 2-2 configuration and 127 Economy seats in a 2-3 configuration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Boasting the most extensive windows among single-aisle aircraft and a cabin designed to provide a heightened sense of space.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It offers swift, complimentary Wi-Fi for connectivity and an upgraded Qantas Entertainment App that enables content streaming to personal devices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equipped with an integrated personal device holder and USB A and C charging points in both Economy and Business, supplemented by an additional wireless charging pad in the Business class.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presenting a more comfortable Economy seat with enhanced padding compared to the 717.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing approximately 20% more overhead locker space for all passengers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrating a noise footprint reduction of up to 50% and a 25% decrease in carbon emissions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay tuned with us.
