In response to the increasing demand for travel between China and Europe, British Airways aims to augment the number of Chinese-speaking cabin crew members. This initiative seeks to ensure that customers have enhanced access to crew members with firsthand knowledge of the language and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Establishing international crew bases enables the airline to deliver a more personalized service to customers, characterized by communication in the local language and thoughtful touches that create a sense of familiarity and comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rigorous Training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Following this recruitment initiative, the number of Mandarin-speaking crew members operating flights between Mainland China and London will increase from two to four. This expansion aims to provide a more personalized service for Chinese customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prospective candidates can anticipate a comprehensive selection process involving online and in-person interviews in both cities, providing local residents with a distinctive opportunity to join the global airline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All new recruits will undergo a six-week training program at British Airways\u2019 headquarters in London<\/a>, covering safety and emergency procedures, aviation medicine, and onboard service and delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
