SYDNEY-<\/strong> Responding to overwhelmingly positive customer feedback from Qantas Airways (QF) <\/a>recent international sale, the airline, known as the flying kangaroo, has extended discounts to more than 500,000 fares on a majority of routes within its domestic network for a limited 72-hour period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Economy class sale fares for domestic flights start at $109 one-way, featuring over 25 routes available for under $150. These discounted fares are applicable for travel from April to mid-September 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qantas Domestic Sale<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The sale encompasses destinations connecting most capital cities and regional towns, fostering exploration across Australia <\/a>and providing a boost to local tourism, including routes like Brisbane to Prosperine and Adelaide to Kangaroo Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative follows Qantas’ launch of a significant New Zealand<\/a> sale this week, targeting the largest outbound and inbound market for Australia. Sale fares to Auckland, Christchurch, Queenstown, and Wellington are included in this offering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For international travelers, Economy class sale fares commence at $499 return, covering flights to and from various Australian capital cities for travel spanning March to December of the current year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recent government data reaffirms Qantas as the most punctual major domestic airline for the 16th consecutive month. Additionally, a report from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission notes a decline in domestic airfares, with the average revenue per passenger in December 2023 decreasing by 13.4% compared to the same month in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
