By substituting labour-intensive manual procedures with digital technology, we continuously enhance the reliability of our aircraft fleet, consequently enhancing our customers&#8217; overall experience.&#8217;<\/em><\/p>\n<cite>Andy Best, Chief Technical Officer at BA<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The documentation of aircraft technical logs, a regulatory necessity, has traditionally been paper-based.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conventional process involved flight and <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Cabin+Crew\">cabin crew<\/a> manually recording faults, which were then transcribed and conveyed to maintenance teams. These teams would perform the necessary work and update the aircraft maintenance log in written form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the implementation of the E-Logs system, a set of specialized <strong>iPads <\/strong>will be installed on each aircraft, completely replacing the paper-based system.
