SINGAPORE-<\/strong> BOC Aviation Limited is delighted to inform that it has engaged in a finance lease arrangement encompassing four Airbus A320neo<\/a> aircraft with InterGlobe Aviation-owned IndiGo Airlines (6E)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft are all equipped with CFM <\/a>LEAP-1A engines, and their delivery is scheduled for 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IndiGo Leases A320neo Aircraft from BOC Aviation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Leasing Aircraft<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The decision to lease more aircraft comes as the airline struggles with the grounding of around 70 aircraft due to Pratt and Whitney engine issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This month, IndiGo reportedly signed an agreement with Qatar Airways (QR)<\/a> to lease 5 737 MAX 8 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, IndiGo proactively retained 14 of its older Airbus A320ceo aircraft<\/a>. Further, they extended leases for 36 more planes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequently, in August 2023, IndiGo leased 10 A320neo aircraft from BOC Aviation to fulfill the staggering demand arising from the festive travel quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
