UNITED STATES-<\/strong> Air travelers in the US experienced significant flight disruptions on Tuesday due to a powerful Nor’easter unleashing a mix of snow, ice, rain, and wind across much of the East Coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, over 1,100 flights had been canceled in the U.S., as reported by FlightAware.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

US Airlines Cancels 1100 Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The most significant challenges are concentrated around major hub airports in the Northeast. LaGuardia Airport (LGA)<\/a> in New York has been particularly impacted, with over 220 departures canceled by mid-morning Tuesday, accounting for more than 40% of the day’s schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other airports experiencing significant disruptions include John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)<\/a>, Newark\/Liberty International Airport (EWR), and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
