With speculation about Taylor Swift’s potential attendance and companies investing millions in glamorous ad campaigns, the anticipated viewership may surpass 200 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strong Demand<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to FCM, the business travel division of Flight Centre Travel Group, a travel agency based in Australia, flight bookings to Las Vegas from Wednesday to Sunday have experienced an 875% increase compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, fans traveling to Las Vegas are originating from cities such as Chicago<\/a>, New York\/New Jersey, Denver, Dallas, and Los Angeles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While football is inherently an American sport, it has generated international interest, with top international cities making their way to the Super Bowl this weekend, including Mexico City, Toronto, and London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

US Airlines Super Bowl Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is what the major airlines have in store for the Super Bowl:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta Air Lines <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Delta (DL)<\/a> is set to boost its capacity by introducing a new route from Kansas City to Las Vegas. Between February 8 and February 12, Delta plans to operate six flights connecting these two cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the airline is expanding its routes to Las Vegas, now including connections from San Francisco, San Jose, and New York’s JFK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

United Airlines<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Super Bowl holds significant importance for United (UA)<\/a> as the official airline for both the Chiefs and 49ers. United is responsible for transporting both teams to Las Vegas in preparation for the upcoming game this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Super Bowl weekend, United is making notable adjustments. While the carrier typically operates 40 flights a day to Las Vegas using Boeing 737s, it is increasing capacity to 75 flights a day and utilizing 10 Boeing 777s<\/a>. United anticipates flying over 12,000 customers in the days leading up to the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday, the Chiefs and 49ers will board United’s charter flights, with the airline planning to transport a total of 22,000 customers to Las Vegas over two days. Post-game, United will fly both teams back to Kansas City and San Francisco, along with more than 14,000 travelers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Southwest Airlines<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In preparation for the Super Bowl weekend, Southwest (WN)<\/a> is introducing an array of flights connecting Kansas City, San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose to Las Vegas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specifically between Kansas City and Las Vegas, Southwest is significantly increasing its capacity from February 8 to February 13. During the period from February 8 to February 10, the carrier will offer a total of 15 nonstop options for the Kansas City-Las Vegas route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the game, Southwest provides 12 different nonstop options for those departing from Las Vegas to Kansas City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For fans of the 49ers, Southwest offers 11 nonstop options from San Francisco to Las Vegas. Additionally, Southwest has a substantial presence in the Bay Area cities of Oakland and San Jose. The Oakland-Las Vegas route features 27 nonstop options, while Las Vegas-Oakland has 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Southwest is operating a total of 29 nonstop flights from San Jose to Las Vegas and 19 from Las Vegas to San Jose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
