This announcement followed Scindia&#8217;s meeting with Airbus Global CEO Guillaume Faury on January 26, where they explored collaboration opportunities for aircraft manufacturing and design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scindia shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter),<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;Had a meeting with Mr. Guillaume Faury, the Global CEO of Airbus, today, exploring additional prospects for collaboration in aircraft manufacturing and design. With India&#8217;s rapid economic growth and a focus on #MakeinIndia, the country holds immense potential to emerge as a global hub for aircraft manufacturing<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>India stands as a crucial market for Airbus, receiving orders for over 700 planes from carriers like <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=IndiGo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IndiGo (6E)<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Air+India\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Air India (AI)<\/a> last year. Additionally, the country is anticipated to need around 41,000 pilots and 47,000 technical staff in the next two decades. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In light of these developments, Airbus aims to leverage the substantial demand in the world&#8217;s most populous nation, aiming to increase its sourcing from the current $750 million to $1.5 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recent reports have indicated that Airbus Helicopters is set to collaborate with the Tata Group to establish a final assembly line for helicopters in India. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This strategic move is poised to contribute to the growth of indigenous manufacturing activities.
