PHILADELPHIA-<\/strong> Ultra-low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines (F9)<\/a> is set to launch nonstop services from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)<\/a> to 10 additional destinations in May 2024, building on the previously announced Minneapolis route in late January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Including these new routes, Frontier will connect PHL to a total of 39 destinations, with an anticipated average of 44 daily departures during the upcoming summer \u2013 marking a remarkable 47% increase compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frontier Airlines Philadelphia Destinations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To celebrate this expansion, the environmentally conscious airline is offering fares as low as $19*, along with Premium Seat Upgrades starting at $19** for all routes originating from PHL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barry Biffle, CEO of Frontier Airlines, expressed enthusiasm about the diverse range of new routes, spanning from the Midwest to the East Coast and from Maine to Florida. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He emphasized the airline’s ongoing commitment to growth at PHL, highlighting that it will experience the second-largest surge in daily departures on Frontier during the summer among major operational bases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atif Saeed, CEO of the Department of Aviation, expressed excitement about the announcement and Frontier’s substantial 47% increase in summer flights from Philadelphia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He sees this expansion as a positive sign of ongoing post-pandemic recovery, emphasizing that the ultra-low-cost fares will extend market accessibility, enabling more travelers \u2013 both local residents exploring new destinations and visitors experiencing Philadelphia’s attractions \u2013 to engage with travel opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recruitment of Flight Attendant<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The increase in service aligns with an open house event for flight attendant positions. Those aspiring to become flight attendants are invited to participate in one of three sessions scheduled for Thursday, February 8, 2024, beginning at 9 a.m. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sessions will take place at Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia, 900 Packer Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19148, specifically in the Liberty Room. Those interested in attending can confirm their presence by RSVPing on Facebook or LinkedIn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mileage accrual is based on dollars spent, featuring a standard 10X multiplier: $1 equals 10 miles. At each elite level, mileage multipliers increase up to 20X. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Membership in the elite tiers unlocks privileges such as priority boarding, complimentary seat selection, waiver of change or cancellation fees when made seven days or more before the scheduled departure, and free baggage allowances at Gold, Diamond, and Platinum levels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
