A380 service for Beijing will no longer be available).

For the Dubai – Shanghai Pu Dong route, EK302/303 will experience a switch to 777-300ER from February 21, 2024, replacing the A380.

Additionally, EK304/305 will see a 777-300ER replace the previously scheduled A380 from March 31, 2024, resulting in the removal of the A380 service for Shanghai.

It’s important to note that the removal of the A380 service to China will persist during the Northern Winter 2024/25 season, effective on or after October 27, 2024.

Photo: Emirates

Other Routes

Effective March 31, 2024, the Dubai – Nice route will witness the A380 replacing the 777-300ER, a change initially scheduled for June 1, 2024.

From February 21, 2024, on the Dubai – Vienna route, one of the two daily flights, EK127/128, will be served by the A380, replacing the 777-300ER.

Emirates recently revealed that it would increase its capacity in Australia by upgrading its second daily flight, EK430/431, connecting Dubai and Brisbane, to an A380 aircraft, beginning on October 1st.

Starting October 1st, Emirates’ second A380 flight, EK430, bound for Brisbane, will take off from Dubai at 02:30 (local time) and reach Brisbane at 22:20. The return journey, EK431, will depart Brisbane at 01:55 (local time) and land in Dubai at 10:05. All mentioned times are local.

By enhancing A380 operations to Brisbane and reinstating Emirates’ second service to Perth, the airline is set to augment its weekly capacity to Australia with an additional 6,900 seats.

One of the most noteworthy developments is in Washington Dulles. As of December 2023, Emirates’ timetable indicated the return of the A380 to Dulles on October 1, 2024, marking its re-introduction after last being utilized at that airport before covid in March 2020.

Stay tuned with us.
