This led to the cancellation of numerous flights by both Alaska Airlines and United. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Wednesday, the <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=FAA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FAA<\/a> lifted the grounding order after approving new inspection and maintenance checks. The grounding had impacted approximately 20% of its fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Boeing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Boeing <\/a>Commercial Airlines President Stan Deal informed employees late Friday that the company has diligently developed inspection criteria to facilitate the return of aircraft to service. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boeing is currently assessing &#8220;hundreds&#8221; of ideas submitted by employees for potential quality improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay tuned with us.
