DUBAI-<\/strong> In recent weeks, the flag carrier of UAE, Emirates (EK) Airlines<\/a>, has submitted initial adjustments to its operations for the Northern winter of 2024\/25. As of January 24, 2024, the tentatively planned changes comprise the following.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dubai-based carrier recently added more flights to Argentina and Brazil<\/a>, i.e., on its Dubai\/Rio de Janeiro\/Buenos Aires route, providing greater flexibility, choice, and connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates Winter 2024 Schedule Updates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Starting from December 1, 2024, the Dubai to Addis Ababa route will see a switch from the Boeing <\/a>777-300ER to the 777-200LR, operating six times weekly, with an increase to seven weekly flights effective January 1, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From February 1, 2025, the Dubai to Algiers route will witness a change from the 777-300ER to the 777-200LR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Dubai to Bahrain route, two out of three daily flights will experience aircraft changes. Specifically, on January 1, 2025, EK835\/836 has the 777-200LR instead of the -300ER, and on November 1, 2024, EK837\/838 will see the same aircraft change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting January 1, 2024, the Dubai to Barcelona route has a daily 519-seater A380 replacing the 491-seater aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the Dubai to Hong Kong route, effective January 1, 2025, one of the two daily flights, EK382\/383, switched from a 777-300ER to an A380, resulting in two daily A380 flights overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commencing January 1, 2024, the Dubai to Kuala Lumpur route experience one of its three daily flights, EK342\/343, switching from a 2-class 777-300ER to a 2-class A380, with two daily A380 flights overall and one daily 777-300ER flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the Dubai to Larnaca to Malta route, starting from December 1, 2024, the 777-200LR will replace the -300ER for one daily flight, as previously reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beginning December 11, 2024, one of the two daily flights on the Dubai to London Stansted route, EK067\/068, will be operated by a new 354-seater 777-300ER instead of the previously used 354\/360-seater aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From December 7, 2024, the Dubai to Rio de Janeiro Galeao to Buenos Aires Ezeiza route will see an increase from four to five weekly flights operated by the 777-200LR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Effective January 1, 2025, the Dubai to Tunis route has experienced a switch from the 777-300ER to the 777-200LR, operating six times weekly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
