TOKYO-<\/strong> All Nippon Airways<\/a> Holdings (referred to as “ANA HD”) has unveiled its flight schedule for the fiscal year 2024 (FY2024) for Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America in response to evolving demand trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The strategic focus in FY2023 aimed to position the company for sustainable growth in the post-COVID environment, and this emphasis will persist in FY2024 with strategic and targeted development to meet growing demand and maximize profitability for the Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANA Group New Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Koji Shibata, President and Chief Executive Officer of ANA HD, highlighted,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The core of our growth in the next fiscal year will be our international flight business. We will firmly resume the international routes that were suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic and inaugurate flights to new destinations to allow more new customers to experience the ANA Group. With the addition of AirJapan, we can leverage three brands and offer customers different options to meet their travel needs. This ambitious network expansion reflects investments to meet demand while adhering to our sustainable growth mission.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

International Routes:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

To address the steady recovery in demand for international routes, ANA HD will significantly expand its operations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting in July, ANA will increase the frequency of the Haneda-Munich and Haneda-Paris routes to daily service, followed by the resumption of the Haneda-Vienna route in August. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, during the 2024 winter schedule, ANA will launch the Haneda-Milan, Haneda-Stockholm, and Haneda-Istanbul routes, which were previously postponed due to COVID-19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further details on the new routes will be announced once finalized. ANA plans to increase flights on routes anticipating strong demand, including the Haneda-Beijing and Haneda-Shanghai (Pudong) routes, operating on a double daily basis from March 31. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Narita-Hong Kong route is set to resume on April 16. AirJapan will also increase the number of flights on its Narita-Bangkok route beginning April 30, operating on a daily service, as it receives its second aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asia-Pacific Routes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANA intends to operate its international routes based on passenger demand trends and other considerations, following the outlined flight schedule. Period: From March 31, 2024\uff5e<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*1: Implementation dates for flights departing from overseas are the following day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

*2: Service suspension is anticipated due to airspace closure for the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

*3: Sales for the Haneda-Vienna route will commence on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Operation for routes and flight numbers not specified in the table above is currently not planned. Announcements will be made once flights are scheduled. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

*For Haneda route flights, please refer to the ANA app or website for information on departure and arrival terminals (Terminal 2 or 3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Domestic Routes: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

For domestic routes, with the steady growth in demand and the impact of P&W 1100G-JM engine inspections on operations expected to be gradually resolved by the end of July, almost all flights will be in operation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consequently, ANA and Peach plan to increase the number of seats compared to FY2023. ANA will deploy the new Boeing 787-10 aircraft upon delivery, while Peach will continue to optimize its network to meet growing demand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, ANA and Peach will strengthen the group network by leveraging the strengths of both companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Freighter Routes: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

For freighter routes, ANA will maximize the use of its freighters through its global network. With the increase in passenger flights, ANA will utilize the cargo space on passenger aircraft to maximize profitability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peach and AirJapan Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Peach (MM)<\/a> is set to augment its service on domestic routes by increasing the frequency of flights on the Narita-Sapporo and Kansai-Sapporo routes, reaching a maximum of 7 roundtrips per day to meet robust demand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, in response to heightened passenger interest in the first half of the year, Peach will raise the number of flights on the Narita-Okinawa route to 3 roundtrips per day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding international routes, Peach is exploring the possibility of introducing new routes in anticipation of heightened demand for inbound travel to Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To enhance aircraft utilization, Peach will conduct a comprehensive review of the flight frequencies on select domestic and international routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Japan (NQ)<\/a> is scheduled to commence operations on the Narita-Bangkok route starting February 9, 2024. Depending on demand, the frequency of flights will be expanded to daily service starting April 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional details regarding new routes will be disclosed once they are finalized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
