This announcement adds to the recent surge in record orders by larger competitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It remains uncertain whether Akasa&#8217;s order encompasses Boeing&#8217;s contentious <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=737+MAX+9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">737 MAX 9 planes<\/a>, which have come under scrutiny from regulators following a cabin panel blowout earlier this month, further complicating the planemaker&#8217;s ongoing safety challenges. Simultaneously, international travelers are expected to increase to 160 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a current fleet of around 700 aircraft, India has pending orders for more than 1,500 planes from carriers such as <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=IndiGo\">IndiGo<\/a> (6E), <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Air+India\">Air India<\/a> (AI), and Akasa Air (QP).
