FORT WORTH-<\/strong> Envoy Air (MQ),<\/a> the regional subsidiary of American Airlines (AA)<\/a>, is excited to share that it will be expanding its fleet by adding 19 large Embraer <\/a>Regional Jet aircraft. Deliveries for these eight Embraer 175 and eleven Embraer 170 aircraft are set to commence later this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This addition comes on the heels of previous fleet announcements in 2023, which included six E175s in March, seven E175s and five E170s in June, and four E175s in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

American Airlines Envoy to Add More Embraer Jets<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With today’s announcement, Envoy’s total fleet commitment now stands at 169 aircraft, comprising 126 E175s and 43 E170s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Envoy President & CEO, Pedro F\u00e1bregas, emphasized that the current success, characterized by a measured and sustainable growth, is a direct result of Envoy’s steadfast commitment to safety, quality, and cost. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00e1bregas highlighted that these three principles are integral to all aspects of their operations, allowing them to deliver secure, high-performance, and cost-efficient regional services to thousands of daily customers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This commitment extends to benefit American Airlines Group and its shareholders, as well as the more than 19,700 Envoy employees across the Pacific, North America, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Successful Transition to E170 Family<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

May 2023 marked a significant milestone for the American subsidiary as Envoy Air completed its transition from the ERJ145 <\/a>to the E170 family jet. The airline bid farewell to the ERJ145, concluding 25 years of exceptional service with the aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This transition reflects Envoy Air\u2019s commitment to modernizing its fleet. Further providing enhanced services to its passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
