According to reports, the UK Government has also issued an update to its immigration rules, permitting expanded activities on Visitor Visas<\/a>, and these changes are scheduled to take effect from January 31, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. While visitors are allowed to work remotely from the UK, the primary purpose of their stay should not be remote work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Scientists, researchers, and academics are granted permission to conduct research in the UK, with certain exceptions for academics applying for a 12-month visit visa or seeking permission extensions within the country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Lawyers will have the opportunity to engage in additional activities, such as providing advice, acting as an expert witness, participating in legal proceedings, and teaching.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. The Permitted Paid Engagement (PPE) Visitor route will be integrated into the Standard Visitor route, eliminating the need for a separate visa for those involved in paid engagements. However, they still need to plan the activity within 30 days of arrival.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
