LUXEMBOURG-<\/strong> On Thursday evening (Dec 21, 2023), a China Southern Airlines (CZ) <\/a>Airbus A350 <\/a>carrying 146 passengers touched down at Luxembourg Airport (LUX), inaugurating the first direct air route for passengers between China and Luxembourg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon exiting the aircraft, the primarily Chinese passengers received a warm welcome from Alexander Flassak, the Chief Executive Officer of Luxembourg Airport, and Hua Ning, the Chinese Ambassador to Luxembourg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

China Southern Luxembourg Flight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Expressing pride and joy, Flassak remarked, “We are proud and happy to have this passenger flight directly connecting to China. We have worked for it for several years.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlighting the existing cargo flights between the two nations as a “strong link to China,” he expressed anticipation for additional direct passenger flights between Luxembourg and China <\/a>in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
